CWSR: Professionalising Resilience Webinar

On Wednesday 2nd April, the CWSR hosted its first webinar of the year, on the topic of "Professionalising Resilience". The panel of speakers included Tim Norton (Head of Rail Resilience for DfT & Rail Resilience Steering Group member), John Melville (Project Manager for Rail Resilience at the Rail Delivery Group & Rail Resilience Steering Group member), Prof. Caroline Field (Head of Resilience at PA Consulting & Co-founder of CWSR), Prof. Ruth Crick (Founder of WILD Learning & Co-founder of CWSR), and Dr El Parker (Resilience Expert & UKRA Transition Lead).

The panel discussed the leadership that the Rail Industry has shown through its Rail Resilience Project, led by the Rail Delivery Group (RDG), developing a suite of resilience guidance and tools for the industry. The discussion also focused on the development of a Resilience Competency Framework for Resilience Professionals, which is a first of its kind, led by PA Consulting, with collaborators from the CWSR.
